The National Pro Day Scouting Combine was created in 2009 by Michael Quartey Esq. owner of East Preps LLC. to showcase players from all colleges and college levels. The first East Preps Combine had early success as players recieved private NFL workouts, AFL & Arena contracts and many players went abroad. In the next year the D2-D3 Pro Day & National Scouting Combine was formed which included East Preps Regional Combines in New Jersey, Chicago, Orlando, Houston, & Los Angeles.
The elite players from those regional combines were invited to the D2-D3 Pro Day National Combine. This concept gained national exposure as several players from that combine signed NFL contracts including Michael Galatas of Millsaps who ran a 4.25 40 yard dash and signed with the New Orleans Saints. A countless number of players have gone pro from this camp which is unheard of in the Division 2, 3 and NAIA divisions. Also some D1 players and Pro Arena players looking to move up also attended these camps that were attended and scouted by the CFL, UFL, AFL, IFL, Europe, and Arena leagues. The National Bowl Game was formed to give small school players an outlet to show on the field expereince and now has the attention and scouting of NFL teams. The East Preps Combine & D2-D3 Pro Day have merged into 1 national event renamed the “National Pro Day” to showcase players from all divisions and pro levels.
